Redeemer Student Ministry
At Redeemer, we believe God has called us to help each other know and follow Jesus in all areas of life. Our Student Ministry is an extension of that. Our goal is to come along side parents in providing 7th-12th graders a variety of ways to discover who God is and grow closer to him through various avenues of ministry: Large group meetings, Sunday school classes, small groups, as well as service and social events.
The information and links below will give you more information about each area of student ministry. Want to get in touch? Contact Sean Scott, our Student Ministry Coordinator here: firstname.lastname@example.org
LARGE GROUP MEETINGS - Summer
During the summer (June-August) we gather every Wednesday night from 6:30-8:45 as a youth large group. During this time we'll grill out and share a meal, play games, and work through a teaching series.
This summer we are working through a video series called Christianity Explored. Each video is between 10-20 minutes and we follow the video with dessert and small discussion groups. The series is aimed at using the Gospel of Mark to unpack central themes of the Christian faith, and how all of it has to do with Jesus.
Join us Wednesday nights!
Our summer small group meets on Tuesday afternoons at 4pm in Junior. We are studying 1 Peter.
Youth Sunday School (SS) Classes - Sunday school meets from 10:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. between Worship Services. We have a middle school class for grades 7-8 and a high school class for grades 9-12. The high school class is taught by Phil Rendall and meets in the Junior, our mobile unit on the side of the church building.. The middle school class is taught by Zachary Roberts and meets in the conference room, located behind the nursery desk in the foyer.
The high school class is currently studying the Westminster Shorter Catechism.
The middle school class is working through a quarter on God’s means of Grace.
